On Monday, 23 March, Minister Plenipotentiary, Drs. Gracita R. Arrindell, met with Deputy Minister Plenipotentiary of Curaçao, Mr. Errold Bishop, accompanied by the Secretary-General of General Affairs of Curaçao, Mr. Djurick Comenentia.
Mr. Bishop was recently sworn in as Deputy Minister Plenipotentiary of Curaçao in the Netherlands. In this capacity, he represents Curaçao in The Hague, including in the Council of Ministers of the Kingdom when required, and maintains relations with Dutch ministries and institutions. He brings extensive experience in both the public and socio-political domain. In addition, he has been politically active and previously served as a policy staff member within the Ministry of Education.
The meeting provided an opportunity for a constructive exchange of knowledge and experiences between the respective offices. Discussions focused on identifying and sharing best practices, whereby both parties underscored the value of continued collaboration and expressed their intention to maintain ongoing dialogue aimed at reinforcing cooperation in the coming years.
