The Cabinet of the Minister Plenipotentiary is honored to share that Drs. Gracita R. Arrindell, Minister Plenipotentiary, was invited to attend the 390th Dies Natalis of Utrecht University, held on Thursday, 26 March in the Domkerk in Utrecht. During this special academic ceremony, Linda Nooitmeer was awarded an honorary doctorate in recognition of her exceptional societal contributions, particularly her leadership in bringing the legacy and impact of 400 years of slavery onto the social and political agenda in the Netherlands.

This year’s theme, “Maak Kennis. Maak Verschil.”, reflects the important connection between academic reflection and societal progress, values that strongly resonate with the Cabinet’s continued commitment to dialogue, awareness, and inclusive development. The Cabinet values opportunities to be present at moments where education, history, and social responsibility come together in meaningful ways.
